In early September there will be a notice board on the main floor of the School of Nursing building dedicated to Pandemic Flu Planning. Please make sure you check the board regularly for updates. When should you contact your undergraduate academic advisor?

  • You want to know about academic resources available at Queen’s.
  • You are having problems with any of your courses.  Contact the academic advisor as soon as you begin to have problems, don’t wait until it’s too late.
  • You’re too sick to study, complete assignments on time, prepare for a test or exam.
  • You have questions about what elective courses to take.
  • You have questions about transfer credits from other university programs.
  • You are thinking about taking a course at a different university during the summer.
  • You are having trouble concentrating on your studies, worried about not doing as well as you would like, don’t know where to turn.

I want to wish you success in the upcoming year and look forward to welcoming you back to Queen’s.
