The School is housed in the Cataraqui Building at 92 Barrie Street and 82/84 Barrie Street. There are regularly scheduled tours of the School and we also welcome prospective students at other times for a tour and meeting to discuss the education programs.
Queen’s School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate education in nursing, and healthcare quality programs at the graduate level. The nursing programs are approved, and where applicable, fully accredited. The faculty are engaged in multiple research projects receiving funding from a variety of sources. The programs are constantly adapting to the changing healthcare system and changes in nursing practice. We spend time every year finding new and exciting clinical placements for the students that will help them achieve all of the competencies required in their entry to practice qualification.
In the fall term of 2017 have plenty of opportunities to meet friends, alumni and potential applicants. There will be two opportunities, in November, for undergraduate applicants to tour the school. We have a healthcare quality research forum on 5th October. We will be welcoming back at Homecoming Weekend (October 13th - 15th) at our annual brunch and tour of the nursing labs, alumni for graduating classes of 1997, 1982, 1987, 1992, 2007, and 2012.
The Strategic Plan 2015 – 2020 guides the faculty and staff in facilitating students to aspire to the goal of Caring to Learn: Learning to Care.
