Teaching
I began teaching at Queen’s University in 2010 and transitioned to a full-time faculty role in 2014. Within the undergraduate nursing program, I serve as a lecturer, course coordinator, faculty advisor, and clinical instructor. My primary area of expertise is family-centred maternal and newborn care. As an educator, my goal is to support students in developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to become competent and compassionate clinicians in the nursing profession.
I completed the Canadian Nurse Associate specialty certification in perinatal nursing and was an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consult from 2010-2025.
