Undergraduate Awards & Bursaries

We recognize a university education is a major financial undertaking. All Queen's students share the ability to excel academically, but many may not be able to fully finance their university education. Queen’s is committed to helping reduce barriers related to financial need or personal circumstances so you can focus on your studies, achieve your goals, and prepare to make your positive impact on the world. To explore all sources of available funding at Queen's, please visit the Registrar & Financial Aid Services website.

Queen's General Bursary Application

The Queen's General Bursary (summer and fall/winter) is a non-repayable grant available to students in all years of study who have a demonstrated financial need.

Application Details

Named General Bursaries (Nursing)

Named general bursaries have been made possible due to generous donations from specific donors. If you are selected to receive a general bursary, it may be amended to a named general bursary. Only the name of your award will change; the value of your general bursary assistance does not. You must apply to Queen's General Bursary to be eligible for a named general bursary.

Automatic Awards for Future Undergraduate Nursing Students

Students who apply to Queen's University will be automatically considered for named grade-based awards, made available through the generosity of Queen’s donors.

Scholarships & Awards

Scholarships and awards usually require students to submit an application to the Queen's Student Awards Office or the Awards Committee of the School of Nursing. Some of these awards are only available to students in the upper years of their programs. Current nursing students can always monitor award and scholarship opportunities through OnQ and program newsletters.

International and U.S. Students

Queen's University attracts a community of outstanding student scholars from across the globe. There are a variety of financial aid programs available to assist international and U.S. students studying at Queen's.
